About Blessed Kateri Village

Blessed Kateri Village consists of five residential buildings and one community building, intersperced with play and garden areas on an approximately 5 acre site. The community building houses a computer lab, office area, kitchen and great room for community gatherings, as well as an ample outdoor patio.

A large public park abuts the property to the south, and the site is within walking distance of schools, religious facilities, grocery stores and banks. The residential buildings are arranged around the community center. Wherever possible, the apartment kitchens have been oriented so that their windows overlook this common area, allowing an adult cooking or doing other chores in the kitchen to monitor the activities of children in the yard.

This property is for farm workers and their families earning at or below 50 percent of area median income. Income must consist of at least $3000 annually from farm work. The development offers 50 tax credit townhouse style units with a mix of two-, three- and four-bedrooms. This property does not offer directly subsidized units, but we gladly accept Section 8 vouchers.
